The Kahari Tan line combines the best individual components of our best selling solutions, paired with a deeper instant tint. The electrifying end result is a product that targets the tanner who has been looking for rich but deep color with the chocolate tone that can counterbalance the typical DHA bronze color. Kahari Tan Tanning Solution is a dual color product. Integrating dark level instant color bronzers that add an extra brown “oomph” effect, and Dihydroxyacetone for the long wearing active skin colorant.

 

This combo creates a color often associated with the Caribbean Isles, where the long days of intense sunlight create a dramatic mocha brown tone. The foundation of this product is Aloe Vera Juice. Rich in anti-oxidants; this is the first line of defense against skin damage caused by pollutants, and environmental irritants. Aloe is a renowned natural moisturizer, with healing and soothing properties. Rich in vitamins and amino acids, that help support skins overall health. Green & White Tea Extracts provide skin protective properties boosting skin immune function, and adds supporting protection against the damaging effects of sun exposure. Rich in anti-oxidants, it may also provide some anti-aging benefits. White and green teas contain the highest amounts of antioxidants of all tea varieties Ubiquinone, also known as Coenzyme Q10 or CoQ10. This nutrient has been known for years as one of the essential ingredients used by every cell in the body for efficient function.

 

As the body ages it loses its ability to effectively synthesize this key nutrient. A very beneficial antioxidant which may help skin maintain youthful function. Wondering what DHA % to get?

 This simple guideline should help you choose the correct Darkness level for your clients skin type. If you have used another product in the past,even though it was the same DHA%, this guideline is for Artesian Tan formulas and should be followed.

SKIN TYPE	COMMON PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS	RECOMMENDED SOLUTIONS
Type I	Extremely sensitive to sun. Often light haired, fair skinned with freckles. Usually sunburns easily. Not likely to tan.	·         Awaken 7% Kahuna Bay 7.5%  K
Type II	Very sensitive to sun. Often fair skinned and blue or light colored eyes. Usually sunburns easily. Able to achieve light tan.	·                    Awaken 7- 9% Kahuna Bay 7.5- 9.5%
Type III	Sensitive to sun. Most Caucasians fit into this category. Sometimes sunburns. Achieves medium tan.	·                    Awaken  9% Artesian Blend 9.5%
Type IV	Moderately sensitive to sun. Often of Mediterranean, Hispanic or Asian descent. Sunburns a little. Usually tans well.	·                              Awaken 9 -11%    Kahuna Bay 9.5-11.5%    *Booster Drops could be added to Darken Solution.
